Tina Zhang: Tina Zhang is a senior at Mason High School. She is currently the vice president of her senior class and is heavily involved in both her school's student government and orchestra. Tina was born in China and came to America at a young age. She loves learning about cultures, especially through literature and plans to study English in college. She is particularly curious about languages and speaks Chinese and Spanish in addition to English. This is one of the many reasons she chose to study the Dominican author Julia Alvarez and the Chinese author Maxine Hong Kingston in her research. She hopes you enjoy visiting her blog, and that you take something from it whether it be a new skill for the AP Literature and Composition exam or just some thoughts and life lessons to ponder.
